Platelet Rich Plasma

PRP is a tool that can be used to help aid in recovery from acute and/or chronic injuries. It requires a blood draw. The blood is spun down using a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the red blood cells. The platelets are then injected into joints to help treat arthritis or into tendons to treat tears or tendinopathy.

Stem Cell Therapy

Stem Cell Therapy

There are two types of stem cell therapy (Adipose and Bone Marrow.)These techniques use your own body's stem cells in order to boost the recovery process from injuries/arthritis.Bone Marrow procedures are done from the Iliac crest (hip) in order to maximize the concentration of cells.Adipose (fat cell) procedure is taken from the fat cells located just below the skin.Stem cells can be used to treat tendon tears/injury or arthritis.
